Privacy Policy

1. Overview

T4S Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us", or "our"), operates Seenbot. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: Email address and name when you create an account.

Domain and measurement data: Sites and questions you add, AI answers and the sources they cite, audit results, and content prepared for you.

Usage data: Pages visited and features used, collected through server logs and the product analytics described in section 5.

Payment data: Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store card numbers or payment credentials. We receive your name, email, billing country, subscription status, and order details needed to grant credits and answer billing questions.

2a. Report request and access request forms

When you submit the “Get the full report” form on /try or the access request form on /sign-up, we store:

  • Your email address.
  • The domain you checked or entered (if you provided one).
  • An optional note about what you want to get cited for.
  • The citation result you were looking at when you submitted — queries checked, how many cited you, and which competitor names appeared (only when you used the report form on /try).
  • A one-way hash of your IP address (SHA-256 with a server salt). The raw IP is never stored.

A copy of the request is sent to our team's private Telegram chat so we can reply quickly. We use this information solely to reply to your request. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making.

To request deletion of your data, email hello@seenbot.cc with the subject “Delete my data”.

The free citation check itself (“run the check” on /try) stores nothing about you — only the submission of the report request form does.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Service (measurements, audits, content)
  • To manage your account and process payments
  • To send essential service communications (scan results, account alerts)
  • To detect and prevent abuse of the Service

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Seenbot:

  • Supabase — Database and authentication
  • Vercel — Hosting, Web Analytics, and Speed Insights
  • PostHog (EU region) — Product analytics
  • Payment provider (Merchant of Record) — Checkout, payments, invoices, and tax
  • Resend — Sign-in and invitation emails
  • OpenRouter, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Exa — AI answers, search, and content analysis. We send them the questions, page content, and site details needed for a measurement or an article, not your account details.
  • Apify — Fetching public web pages
  • Upstash — Rate limiting
  • Telegram — Internal notifications about report and access requests
  • GitHub, Google Analytics, Google Search Console — Only when you connect them to deliver content or show site data

Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy governing how they process data. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function. Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Seenbot uses cookies strictly necessary for sign-in and session management. To understand which pages and features are used, we run PostHog product analytics, which stores a random identifier in your browser; session recording and automatic click capture are turned off. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure visits and page speed without cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and scan history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities

CCPA (California residents): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Seenbot is not intended for use by individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
